To kick of #BlackHistoryMonth 2022, I wanted to do a quick flag explainer about the Pan-African Flag, also known as the Afro-American flag, the Black Liberation flag, the UNIA flag, (I could go on) designed by famous black nationalist, Marcus Garvey.

10% of every flag purchased goes to organizations that advance the lives and livelihoods of people of color.

📲 Flags For Good on:

0:00 Pan-African Flag Design Breakdown
0:42 Marcus Garvey
0:56 Origins of the Flag
1:44 A Personal Aside...
2:39 Growth of the Symbol
3:02 Pan-African Influence
3:23 Outro

I've always wondered about that flag. Great content! Another interesting vid could be on certain 'tropes' or commonly-used elements in flags. Like why do we use bars of color? What's up with similarities like the one between the flag of the Isle of Man and Sicily (triskeles)? Anyway, I'm excited for the future of this channel!
