often my mind wonders "who made the code that was then copypasted into more code"

and yeah, I know it's a joke, but it's also definitely at least half true, like y'all remember when that one guy deleted a line of code from his GitHub, but apparently it was used in some library, that was used in more libraries, that then ended up on twitter, Facebook, google, etc. which resulted in like 80% of the internet being down for 3 hours.
