I love that he is still continuing to learn and grow as a chef. The mark of a true master

I love how Gordon is one of the best most skilled chefs in the world and still humbles himself down to the level of a student to perfect his craft

My small village here in England has a pub run almost entirely by a Thai family, only the landlord/father of the family is English. And the only food they do is Thai food - and it's exactly the food they made back in Thailand. Feel very privileged to be able to easily get access to it, especially as they're so good to vegetarians like me - the tofu or vegetable dishes they make are INCREDIBLE. LOVE Thai food, and I like to think I've had a relatively authentic introduction to it thanks to this little village!

I appreciate how Gordon still acts proud but is able to be respectful and learn from new places

Saw this a long time ago, and it still amazes me how down to earth Ramsay is despite being a world renowned chef. Unlike other TV chefs who think they know everything and look down on other cooks or mock others who are not very good in the kitchen but trying...

one of the most interesting things that I've noticed about Gordon Ramsay in his adventures. He knows he's a novice to their cooking techniques. so he watches and listens. He's a master chef himself and yet he holds back because he's a student in their kitchen. That's what a true master does

My co-worker/friend who was Thai, taught me so much about the food and culture..That's until he retired and moved back! Looking forward to my first visit there soon! Mr. Gordon, I enjoy watching these shows, thank you!

"are you a real chef or a tv chef?"
"a real chef"
it's compelling seeing Gordon's equals in other continents, and for them to be going against each other? awesome. he has a knack for making great television.

"What did he just put in there?"
"He just put in fish sauce and then oyster sauce"
"WHERES THE LAMB SAUCE?!"

The way Gordon ask “are you a real chef or tv chef” has the same energy like “are you Jamie Oliver or not”?

Gordon's thirst for knowledge in cooking is what makes a real Master Chef

Gordon’s passion for food is infectious. Makes me want to find something to be this passionate about.
