Ambas gorge & waterfall Heraklion Crete Greece

The gorge and the waterfall of Ambas are located 55 kilometers south of Heraklion on Asterousia mountains about 8 kilometers before the village of Treis Ekklisies
The gorge is very difficult and dangerous to be crossed and is only for experienced canyoners
The waterfall is 145 meters high and water is falling from the waterfall only during the winter, but becouse of the amazing view and landscape is worth to visit anytime of year.
