MagSafe Duo is designed to be portable, I’ve used it for travelling since launch and it perfect for that. If you have a Mac no power adapter needed for the duo, just plug your Mac in to charge, plug the duo into your Mac. It cut down the number of chargers I used to travel with. It was better than I expected. I don’t ever use it at home.

In my opinion, this charger is really meant for traveling. Its a great charger to just put it in your bag. I don’t think it is really meant to be used everyday on your night stand. I had mine for a few months now and I only use it during traveling and its still white.

Bought mine December 27 2020. Have it under a lamp. The lamp is on everyday. I charge both devices everyday. It’s still white. No yellowing.

Some people already mentioned it, however I think its the key to why I think this product exist, I believe Apple intended this to be a travel charger. Ive had mine for almost a year, its still looks brand new however I tend to only use it outside of the house, at home I use a wall mounted MagSafe and Apple Watch charger instead. Also because of the price of this duo charger I also got a silicone CASE for it as well from amazon, so that may play a huge a factor as well. Anything you buy from apple needs a case, especially to maintain that resell value.

Be had my since launch and it’s still perfectly white and I even travel with it . Very strange. I would love to hear if this is happening to anyone else

Do you find an issue with the camera bump on iPhone 13 pro or pro max + magsafe duo?

Magsafe duo is flat, whereas Nomad or Mophie have a raised surface for your phone (so that the camera bump doesn't interfere with the phone laying completely flat).

Highly recommend the Belkin stand charger. Ive used the 2-in-1 for over a year now, love the functionality and looks of the stand and it comes with a charger in the box

You won’t want to buy anything in white color if it doesn’t turn yellow! Because the yellow color is the sign of the flame retardant inside the material of the product coming out when it heat up.

Do you use candles or incense sticks?
Given it’s on the back as well tells me it’s not from use but from sitting there and the environment.

I use mine in my travel pack, best travel charger on the market in my opinion!

I have 3 Nomad Base Station Apple Watch Editions for my chargers beside my bed and at my desk, can’t fault Nomads products that’s for sure!!

I’ve been leaving mine in my laptop backpack for travel use only it has worked great! While I’m at work, hotels and airports it’s very convenient to be able to charge both my iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time and only have to carry the USB-C to Lightning cable and 20W charger (I use Anker Neo folding adapters that are as small as the old 5W Apple bricks) in my bag. And in a pinch, just plug direct to the iPhone for a quick charge on the go. For home usage, I bought some nice Stouchi brand aluminum mounts that accept MagSafe chargers and I have one on both mine and my wife’s nightstands as well as my desk in the home office. All in on the magsafe now! Even have leather circle magnets stuck all over the place for my phone (by the shower, over the kitchen counter, above my workbench, in our vehicles etc).

Doest it leave a print as the normal magsafe leaves prints, i guess because of the heating

This kind of thing happens with the iPad folio too. Within a few months it was turning yellow. Looks like I’ve been handling it with smoker hands.

Every night I use the Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe charging stand so it props up my phone & watch and AirPods Pro (I like that better than them laying flat) and then, because that’s so big, I have my MagSafe Duo Charger for when I travel. Because it’s easy to fold up and shove in my backpack/suitcase. I’ve only used it twice but I do love it whenever I do use it. But I still only like it for temporary use
