Honestly I haven't been focused on powerleveling, I've been enjoying just exploring the world a ton.

I've been sifting through all sorts of videos trying to understand all of the mechanics of this game, as I generally find it a bit difficult to wrap my head around so many mechanics and where to go to farm certain things. I appreciate these videos a ton.

You can level a purple to max and if you get another better purple you infuse it for 100% transferance. 9-9 0r 5-5 what ever the level is.

Mystic portals also have a chance to drop rare water amitoi, which give a bonus to farming daybreak shore expeditions, which is where you get the BiS fishing pole

also if you do the secret solo dungeons through the escape menu you can farm a few purple growth stones there as well!

I started playing the morning after launch. I'd been having serious burnout over my usual games... This game is so amazing! I'm absolutely loving the story and graphics. They're working great on my old I7-7700K and GTX 1080 card at High Settings! I'm still wet behind the ears but I think I'm hooked for sure

Not really powerleveling but its been so fun playing this game!

Dagger/staff is actually very addicting hope this keeps up in the endgame!

One thing to note is that gear doesn’t need to be the same type to transfer xp - for example I leveled through MSQ as SNS/Greatsword but changed my mind and decided to go bow/dagger, I was able to feed my +9 SNS into my purple dagger to get it to +6
