Arizona attorney general threatens legal action over broken A/C

Hundreds at a Valley apartment complex have been living without air conditioning for two months.

AG should take legal action. This is why it's illegal for electric companies to cut power to homes in AZ during the summer. Old people have literally died in their homes. 110+ daily aint no damn joke

My daughter lived there last year and the chiller was broken then. Management said that the apartment complex was closing down so they allowed the lease to be broken 3 months after she moved in. I see that was a bullshit lie since they are still at their game and still open to renting to families still.

16 weeks would be basically when summer is What great timing!

16 more weeks, until the unit can be repaired? With that extreme amount of time, they should have installed the temporary unit, without the AG getting involved. Chances are, they were shining people on, until the fall, when the temps decrease.

When I was out there in Phoenix visting my couson and her husband, I was checking out the area to see if I could live there or not. I did check out this property and from what I saw I said NOPE, the place had dozens of problems from what I saw. These people can file legal actions against the property owners because of this.
