John: wins game exceedingly fast/instantly - no one says a word.
Justin: trying to win and being repeatedly foiled - everyone complains.
...makes sense.

There's a demonic tutor with Liliana in the art, Stephen, come on

That Ajani deck makes me think "if you want peace, prepare for war".

EDIT - at the 45:25 mark, or thereabouts, Jonathan would actually draw 84 cards, 72 from Consecrated Sphinx and the 12 from his Windfall. At least we get two games for the price of one.

"Each creature deals 1 damage to its controller." those kitty-cats have lifelink so it's no bueno.
I loved how salty Justin got by John's top decks :D

John had Preordain, Brainstorm, and Ponder in the opening! Any blue player's wet-dream come true.

It broke my heart how broken stephen looked when he said “but i casted my commander 4 times”

So, Oathbreaker seems to be getting some traction. SCG and Command Zone both brought it up, LRR did a TTC episode on it...my body is ready.

Hope you enjoy playing the Oathbreaker-style format! Interesting take.  weirdcards.org/oathbreaker

So, how little discussion did it take to keep Narset, Parter of Veils and Windfall out of the command zone?

Justin's second search with Ignite the Beacon starts at 58:53 and ends on 1:00:10. Total Search Time: 77 seconds. -2 points.

I am a loyal Team Green guy but damn those plays by Jon were absolute GOLD. Those troll turns and responses....engulf the shore, devastation tide, aetherize, cryptic command, evacuation....damn...the persistence is admirable. Too bad you didn't get to cast your Leveler /Jace and win, you definitely deserved it.

Justin's song at 1:14:35 will forever live as the ringtone on my phone.

As someone who has played a Liliana, Heretical Healer deck and has had to know these rulings before, Defiant Necromancer does in fact remember her CMC but not her devotion.

And here, Stephen demonstrates why you NEVER give up. Had he stayed in the game, Justin would have spent a turn killing him, meaning Jonathan wouldn't have had to use one of his "fogs" that round. This means Jonathan could have delayed Justin's eventual lethal swing for one turn, giving Jeremy enough time to draw another red source and triple-cast Rakdos Charm before Justin killed his planeswalkers.
Jeremy, on the other hand, could have conceded at any point, and he almost came back and killed the player with the "unbeatable" board state!
NEVER CONCEDE!

Would it be possible for yal to add a turn count animation? That would be righteous :)

In oathbreaker you cant cast the spell without your general first if I'm not mistaken. How did Stephen diabolic tutor early in the game without liliana out?

No Ajani, Caller of Pride in Justin's deck when he had Doubling Season and Parallel Lives? It could make 36x4 2/2 cats. xD
