I LOVE the fact this show is political. It's exactly what Star Wars should be - the Prequel Trilogy was a political tragedy and that's why I adore it so much. Thus, the show taking place after the Prequels should maintain this political exploration due to the Republic descending into the fascist Empire. Let's just hope said political exploration is loyal to Lucas' political philosophy - anti-imperialism and anti-fascism - not liberal/conservative binaries funded by George Soros; Star Wars is fundamentally about the communist, Vietnamese-inspired rebellion against the fascist, capitalistic, American-inspired empire, not about liberals dunking on MAGA supporters and Trump's administration.
