Ukraine's State Emergency Services said at least 11 people have been killed and more than 60 wounded in Russian missile strikes on several Ukrainian cities Monday.

The multiple strikes that have targeted cities across Ukraine amount to an "unacceptable escalation of the war," UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said, according to his spokesperson. Washington has joined the widespread condemnation of Russia's assault on Ukrainian cities with President Joe Biden saying the strikes "demonstrate the utter brutality" of Russia's "illegal war."

Vitaliy Kim, the govenor of the southern Ukrainian region of Mykolaiv, told DW that Russia's overnight air strikes across Ukraine are "a demonstration of weakness of the Russian army because they understood that they are losing their position."

Bombing civilians is terrorism.
Cutting a military supply line is not.

Bridges are always deemed as valid military targets especially when they are key logistical routes, now i would love to see how russia claims that bridges are just civilian infrastructure but schools, apartment buildings etc are valid military targets...

Like breaking into someone’s house then getting pissed when they resist and fight back.

Shows how uniformed most people in Russia are. This is exactly what happened in Germany in 1939, most people didn’t recognise that Germany was the aggressor.

"Our patience has limits" They sound like they took hostages and are getting upset that the cops haven't given in to demands, which isn't too far from the truth really.

The more you attack civilians, the more determined they become. Just look at Londoners during the Blitz. They hunkered down and fought on.

It sounds like those who remain in Moscow, not those who were smart and fled the sinking ship, but those who remain, need to be MADE to understand the war that is happening. The war needs to come home to those who would seek to benefit from it. It makes me sick to see Russians (not all, but the remaining) so nonchalant when their own country is committing genocide on their cousins.

Shocking! … I am beginning to feel less and less sorry for Russians. They mostly deserve their president and their country

An act of reprisal aimed squarely at civilian objects. If they fail to see how a bridge is different to a block of flats in terms of military value it shows just what Russia thinks of the laws of war.

Putin punches Ukraine in the face, then Putin complains when Ukraine punches him in the face.

Wonder if they'd have different thoughts if Ukraine sent cruise missiles into Moscow.

No point in asking the population for what they think, they only know what the state tells them

"We follow what's going but don't understand what's happening".... a very honest and realistic response. The Russian people know that something is going on, but....what is the truth anymore. I am sorry Russians are going through all this.

They know perfectly well what's happening. They simply don't care. Let's face it. They hate anyone who's not in despair or worse as them.

There is little merit in asking the public opinion of people living in a dictatorship
