Lesson #2 – Xquisite Scrap Quilt: Half-Square Triangles

Using the traditional method for making Half Square Triangles, we will sew Nine Patch blocks using light/medium, light/dark, and medium/dark combinations of Half Square Triangles using Bonnie’s method for creating the half-light and half-dark blocks.

If I already have a stash of 5 inch square, will this pattern work with those?

I messed up - I didn't have the single hole plate on my machine. I then used the 1/4 inch foot. However, it had the metal edge. Yes, I ate up several of my triangles. The fabric triangle went down in the machine. I then somehow broke a plastic portion off my foot getting the triangle out. Details that I didn't do correct. Side note. I like your Bonnie B ruler.
