You've perfectly articulated what makes Jokic so special. If he drops 30-40, he isn't doing it to flex; he's got a mismatch and he's going to punish opponents for staying home on his teammates. If he suddenly shoots barely half a dozen times, he's not being passive; the opposition are doubling him and he's spoon feeding his guys. He's one of the rare players I've seen who genuinely does not care about his box score.

it baffles me how people find this man's play boring

Jokic singlehandedly restored my interest to the basketball since 90s Bulls. The intelligence of his plays are so graceful and pleasant to one's thoughtful eye. Saitama of basketball.

American journalists would not give an MVP 3 times to a white east-European if he wasn’t off-the-charts good.

Jokic greatness is so massive he make Jamal Murray looks like the greatest guard of all time and so good that he make a spot up shooter like MPJ to get a max contract

Curse of Denver ...every player who plays with Jokic gets the highest possible contract next season...but with another team :(, because Jokic made them look like superstars

I get a feeling that the whole Nuggets organisation is holding on Jokic's shoulders. It would be interesting to see how valuable Jamal Muray and MPJ would be in any other team.

Don't forget that he also played 2nd longest minutes in a single game ever... In playoffs 65 minutes out of 68

Jokic has the capability to make any role player look like a God at basketball. He simply puts value to every one near him.

The reason he is so good is because he does not go into a game thinking I WILL DO THIS or I WILL DO THAT. He goes in doing the best he can for the team at every single posession. Not about himself, not about scoring, not about individual numbers. All about the team. Whatever team has players who all think like that and play for each other and not themselves. That team will win it all

I noticed his insane stamina when they won their ring last year. Dude really is a work horse, and the best thing about that is that type of hustle is infectious. He really does lead by example

My favourite basketball channel especially when the content involves JOKIC 🃏

If screen assists were counted in the box score, Jokic might be the greatest statistical player of all time. He already has arguments for it without that rule.

Bro i absolutely loved the fact that you mentioned the big fellows screening. Nobody talks about it even though its one of the most physical parts of the game and extremely hard to execute flawlesly

I saw him playing first time in Prague on Eurocup 2022 and was totaly surprised, how is he moving. It was not just running into the offense/defense, he makes all the time the little moves for setting the screens, making the space in paint, small cuts, fake moves or making better spacing for teammates, he was allways on the move. I was shocked how can he do that all the time on court and with that big body.

If Jokic and Luka aren't your top 2 rn, you're not paying attention.

Jokic is one of those amazing guys that gets no recognition for his astounding endurance. I watch him consistently just barrel down the floor possession after possession. Everyone knows 2000 Shaq was impossible to stop. I have always wondered what would happen if someone like Jokic just started running him off the court. It would always be a 5 on 4 after each possession. Shaq would beat Jokic up, but at 400 lbs, he would be gassed trying to run with him. Who would win, the unstoppable force, or the immovable object?
