14:56 the reason why the 15+ didn’t get the pop up of the low battery in the phone was because the newer models with Dynamic Island don’t bubble up alerts and goes away quickly

I’m currently using a iPhone 8 that I’m borrowing from a friend, has appeared 100% battery health but no warning. It has 860 cycles on it according to 3u tools. Only lasts about 4 hours, which is fine.

With the phones stalling at 1% from personal tests, i believe is a form of like 'caching' of true battery % vs shows battery % as a way to incentivise putting your phone on charge/just in case its needed at the last moment. My 11 pro had a thing where its apple certified (and resulting aftermarket replacement) would take the same time to go from 5-0% than it would 50-20%

The 12 mini still manages to have a better battery than my phone lol (my phone normally gets 4 and a half hours of screen on time)

Whenever I buy a used IPhone, I usually carry the phone for a week or two. In that time period. I figure out what the phone needs. If the screen is being replaced, I usually replace the battery if at 85% or less. Aftermarket batteries are not expensive, so it’s really no big deal to replace it.

Please what battery brand did you use to replace the iPhone xs max and what ios version were you using for the xs max?

Excellent video, but it ends far too quickly with the final results and tips only flashed briefly for a second? It is however now clear to me that I should be seriously considering an 11 pro Max which is half the price of the 14+ which IMHO is the best modern iPhone.

It being stuck at 1% is actually normal as they throttle down performance and it being on 1% should give the user more time to get it on the charger

Just bought a iphone 7 in product red in japan (it was used not refurbished) but I managed to get a great deal for a 100% battery and 128GB so I’m very happy hope the 100% battery will be available to last me a year
