Another important tip, at least until they fix it. If you're like me and you go off the beaten path and do faction quests before the main quest, do NOT finish the crimson fleet/UC faction quest chain before you finish the "Old Neighborhood" main quest. If you do, you will never get the "Into the unknown" main quest, and will be blocked. I found out I was soft locked after 70 hours of playing.

Ship parts are extremely heavy and each one weights 10kg and they are located in aid section of the inventory and so they are easy to miss. I keep them in the cargo hold of the ship.

Ship building tip: If you get the unattached module error…..press the key or button “select all” option. If a module is not highlighted in red, then that’s the one not attached to your ship

I dont know if it's just random, or it has to do with player level/xp but the magazines will offer different attributes. I missed the one mentioned next to the artifacts display at the lodge. I just grabbed it right now and it's giving me " use 15% less o2 while moving when overencumbered." Instead of the 5% less fall damage shown in the video. 👍

The vendor reset is 48 hours UT, some planets have over 50 UT hours in a day. Always check the planet time info! Good luck Captains!

1 Mining tip, press your LT "aim" untill the reticle goes smaller then fire away. The beam will cut thru stuff MUCH faster.

For stealth missions, I use Andrea and it works for me…I equip her with a spacesuit with chameleon attribute and silent weapons

5:39 FYI, yuh can stack the '-20% o2 consumption' buff from 'Drink Pack - Water', 'Distilled Water' (made with a 1 Membrane & 1 Water @ a Cooking Station, and 'Sparkling Water' together. Pair this with the 'Nightwear' outfit found in your starter ship on a shelf for an extra -5%. If yuh find a Spacesuit, Backpack and/or Helmet as well yuh can sprint almost indefinitely even while over-encumbered. Im also sure yuh can stack the o2 consumption buffs with a '+20% o2 Recovery' buff from food to make it even more OP. (BEST FOR EARLY GAME BEFORE 'Personal Atmosphere' IS ACQUIRED. NO NEED TO WASTE POINTS ON FITNESS PERK)🤘🏽✌🏽 Have fun & adventure on fellow Starborn! ⭐🚀❤

Don’t make the same mistake as me and start the crimson fleet quest and start pirating. The bounties are outrageous.

Plus when you start doing bounties hunting pirates there bounties are crazy. You just have to choose a side

Another tip with the laser cutter, on xbox, hold LT (zoom?) before firing it and it will break the mineral in less than a second instead of 3 to 5 seconds.

Idk if they will patch but i have been using my ship to hold resources and also the locker/safe in the constellations building room, it doesn't show a mass minimum/max so I've thrown a bunch of ship parts and resources in that.

Also if you want to pilot the more massive ships, you have to invest skills points in piloting tree. Then you can steal the class B and C ships. 👍🏾

A huge tip, if you plan on playing NG+ do not waste time building bases or ships. You lose everything. Personally I'm on the grind to NG+10 so I can max all the powers then do a real playthrough. Also your 1st tip is wrong. The magazines are random. The locations are constant but the mags themselves are random.

Another tip, if you have the kid stuff trait, is to visit your parents until your dad gives you Grandpa's meatloaf recipe.. that gives you a nice xp boost !

Another good tip is when you edit your ship and the room has cosmetic items in it those go into your ship storage when you replace or delete that room and one of the rooms has weights in it for 10 KG each. Also I think you could do this to farm credits as some of the rooms have decently priced items in them like meals and drinks.

You don’t need to rest at a bed for the vendor reset, you can just sit in a chair and wait for the 48 hrs.

Is there a way to pull from the lodge infinite storage while I’m on another planet trying to build an outpost or am I supposed to carry all 400+ resources with me? Same with using the workbench. I was in the lodge using the workbench, and I had no resources, but behind me, was the infinite storage with all my resources, and I could not pull from there. I had to recover all of the resources and then go back to the workbench. I’m hoping there is something I’m just not seeing to easily pull from storage in the lodge.

If you hold right mouse button on the mining gun you charge it up, so it breakes materials faster but uses more energy
