Kind of sweet that Kösem can trust Kemankeş with the fact that she has diabetes.

Managing diabetes is hard enough even with all the modern day medicines available today. It would gave been like having a death sentence back in Kosem's era. Did Kosem have diabetes in real life or is that just something the scriptwriters came up with to further embellish her character?
