So I just took my TEAS and passed with a 79 and I only reviewed about two days with these videos for the sections.
For the math, reading and English language the mometrix book was on point! Not so much with the science, but i had just finished A&P and bio so i scored well anyways. I strongly recommend this book and it's videos. 79 may not seem like a high score for some but I think it's great for 2 days of studying and my program only required a 70 anyways.

English was my weakest performance and between the practice test and the real TEAS, English had the most deviations in terms of types of questions asked from the Mometrix study book vs the real TEAS. That said, this is the best book out there to study for the TEAS. Especially math and reading. I studied the mometrix book for 1 week, as well as a smaller sized pocket test prep book (although I only read through that one once, 2 weeks prior), and scored in the mid 90s overall.

By far the most valuable resource were the 3 practice exams at the back of the book because they were/felt very similar to the real TEAS, except for the English section. 2-3 of the science questions happened to even be exactly the same-ish questions as the science questions I got on the real test.

I learned so much math, vocabulary, and reading rules this week. I’m in my 30s and hadn’t done this stuff for years. But Mometrix made it easy to focus on the important basics that the real test focus on. Plus the organization of the book was ON POINT!

I looked at some other test prep books and they would ask wildly different (often way too complex) questions. I would even find errors in one particular book (the one with the navy blue cover and a nurse on the front).

Anyway this message is getting long so yeah, Mometrix rocks for studying for the TEAS. The only larger deviation I experienced between the Mometrix content and real TEAS content was in the English portion. The English portion of the real TEAS was a lot simpler than the Mometrix version, and some questions/content Mometrix was fond of using a lot on their practice tests didn’t even show up once on the real test. But at least I learned a lot of grammar rules.

I mean, even if you’re not taking the test, the content is nice to know for brush-up reasons and they give it in an easy-to-digest way. 1 week ago I wouldn’t have even been able to distinguish between an adverb and an adjective (because I had forgotten it all). Now I do lol

Commas are not needed if the sentence starts with an independent clause, only after a dependent clause!

I feel like this video was fairly informative, but there were mistakes such as "Capitalization" is spelled "Capatilization" in the video, which should have been caught since the video is about language.

Under "Capitalization", "We" does not need to be capitalized because it follows a sentence. It is not the beginning of a sentence.

Great video! However, both of the words 'separate' and 'stitches' were misspelled as 'seperate' and 'stiches'. I happened to find this ironic but nevertheless, the videos were very helpful.
