How to fix old game OBS screen size incompatibility for streaming or recording

If you're wanting to use OBS to record or stream gameplay from an old game but can't work out how to fix the aspect ratio being too outdated and wrong then this may help you. I got this tip from @CoDMPlays25 who came to my rescue when I was trying to stream Rainbow Six Lockdown for the first time and being a game from 2005 there were a few issues which I'm glad I was able to fix because it was a fun game! There is also a bonus tip from Ghoulhead about how to lock frame rate on Nvidea which can also be an issue with older pc games. I will do videos like this whenever i learn something useful for streaming or gaming content creation that I think can help other people.

hey i have a question, how come when im playing a game on my laptop i cant go back to a differnt window i have to close the game and then go back to obs so i cant see what im doing while on the game
