This is an absolute game changer!! FEELS AMAZING!! and the auditory feedback of the pencil brushing up against the paper is unreal! Got a few bubbles in it, but im happy. Id probably suggest putting an air purifier in the room for an hour or so before anyone goes in it and work in there.

Wish I’d read these comments before buying. So many bubbles and I followed it perfectly

On the first try I couldn't. But in the second try I did it perfectly following your instructions correctly and with no bubbles. Thanks! Really like your product on studying in my ipad.

Using a similar styled protector for my galaxy tab s7 and id wasted SO much money on protectors that came with the whole installation kit shown here but absolutely NO instructions on how to effectively use it 😭 finally found this video and from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU because I FINALLY managed to get the paperlike protector on successfully without having one corner or sometimes an entire side of the protector not sticking down and then peeling up and falling off a few days later. Youre an angel 😢❤ i screwed up my first attempt following this tutorial because i stuck the guide stickers on wrong (rip, yes i am dumb lol 💀😂) but got it right on the second try with the backup from the pack. Will be bookmarking this in the future to use again when i need to replace the protector again ❤❤ Also pro tip for other artists (especially galaxy users with s pens!) that these feel AMAZING to draw on but the rougher paper ish texture eats the default soft plastic nibs like you wouldn't believe; do yourself a favour and invest in some metal nibs which don't wear down as fast 😅😊

I had no issues with my first installation thankfully! Very happy with the product and i feel like it is now a must-have after drawing on it.

Managed to get mine perfectly for the first time by myself. HOWEVER, a couple of tips and some feedback because I read through the comments and watched the guide four times before attempting any of it by myself.

1. Dear @Paperlike, your wet wipes are practically useless. Please make wet wipes that are more functional.

2. Also as a word of advice, add an extra batch of helper stickers and dust removers for each screen protector. Those are cheap, but go a long way to make an application seamless.

3. Use a credit card to push large bubbles towards small bubbles. That’s the only way to get the small ones out.

4. BEFORE getting the last layer off, carefully remove the big guidance sticker and get any bubbles created out. Anything that could move dust/air in the room.

5. Make sure you’ve got a good light and use the dust remover in a pattern that would resemble a lawn mowers path. Go over and over the iPad. It might take some time, squint your eyes for any dust leftovers.

6. If you’re not working in a lab (like your fellow human right here), make sure to turn off any and all AC systems and fans in the room.

7. Don’t be in a rush. Be aware that the application process might take well over an hour.

Good luck everyone!

It works and I wish I had fitted it years ago (bought the 12.9” Pro in 2018) BUT it takes some time to get rid over the bubbles (well over an hour in my case) - my only advice is not to completely remove the protective back completely until all the bubbles are gone. Once peeled it flips back easily. You need it up to see the bubbles properly and down to apply the considerable force that sometimes takes. I took the back of a spoon handle to some of them.

Maybe I'm just stupid and didn't appeal to common sense, but as part of preparation, TURN OFF THE IPAD! It's practically impossible to see dust specks if the screen activates.

I failed to do this, and it wasn't until I'd removed the underside protective layer of the Paperlike, noticed a new speck of dust on the screen, used the dust collector too aggressively which turned the screen on. The time it took me to turn off the iPad and do a final inspection of the screen for dust, was enough for a few specks to collect on the exposed underside of the Paperlike, which is pretty much game over for a dust-free application 😞

Following this worked for me on an iPad Mini. I would add 1 step - clean the screen before you even start the Paperlike installation.

It was first time ever that I installed any protector and I'd say it came out THE BEST EVER with Zero bubbles....Here are the tips to follow:

1) Follow the above guide but understand the reason behind each instruction e.g why is it necessary to avoid every dust particle? It's because even small dust particles create bubbles in the area that are only removed once you remove the dust particle. So NO DUST PARTICLES.

2) Single best advice is to remove small bubbles by slowly moving large bubbles into these small one and then removing that large one (No matter even if you have to move a bubble from one part of screen to other). Because small bubbles can't can't can't be removed alone.

FOR PAPER LIKE team:

Your kit address the alignment issue but try covering the bubbling issue as well in this video because not everyone is a pro bubble remover.

I bought my first paperlike like 5 years ago and I'm just about to use the second one. First one was much loved but had to many little scratches from my apple pencil.
