We’re Thomas and Sheena, food and travel fiends. We travel full time, hunting for the BEST local food in the world to showcase via our YouTube videos. Food is a window into a country's culture and one of the most exciting ways to get to know a place.

We're all about eating what and where the locals eat. You won't find food that's been created merely to be social media worthy on here- no rainbow bagels, gold leaf soft serves- just honest food that tastes incredible.

From street food to mom and pop restaurants, we want to show you the best food we find on our travels.

Fun to see Thomas unleash his inner python at Hodads. It’s been years since I’ve gone there. But just watching you enjoy the flautas and rice and beans at Las Cuatro Milpas made my eyes water. I am going to miss the Mexican food in Southern California so much. 😢 Sending love. 🙌😘

You are so lucky not to have morning sickness Sheena because you can enjoy all the amazing food there. Those rolled tortilla flautas looked so good, and the burger looked fabulous 🥰

Aaah, OB! I spent many happy hours in the sands there.
Cali-Mex is different from Tex-Mex in many ways. Since I grew up with Cali-Mex, I prefer it. The big, fat flautas at Quatro Milpas are the way they're supposed to be made.
You looked like you enjoyed all that food...good for you!

Wow that burger Thomas, what a mammoth meaty concoction, and those deep fried pork rolls look delicious too. They remind me of lamb brik cigars.

The fun thing about San Diego is that you have many sub-cultures all close by- you can have that authentic barrio Mexican food in Barrio Logan made by Mexican mamas, then 10 minutes away you are in hippy Ocean Beach with a San Diego surfer/hippie vibe.

Hopefully you were able to check out Little Italy for great Italian food and City Heights/Kearney Mesa for great Asian spots. San Diegans also love their pho and banh mi! 🤤
