good question. The sound is crisp and clear. I did use 2 different cameras and did not adjust audio levels for the gopro. I will add an annotation as to not discredit the Hero3. Thanks for the comment and the observation!

Yes when I got my Hero 3 white I had to update it, because of the wifi, I had to update it through the computer but it's super easy to update, you can look for a walk through of it on their website

Why are there 2 different gopro hero 3 white edition casings? The one I have doesn't have the silver screws around the glass lense cover, instead, mine is just the black around the glass lense cover? Answers?
