Ayato's thunder voiceline is so wholesome.

He talks about how ayaka was scared of the thunder until their mother told her that the raiden shogun was using thunder to communicate with them. And after that she always looked at it with awe.

To those who wonder why Ayato has a sakura in his ult animation
Its because, firstly, Yashiro comission is the most connected to Narukami shrine, managing all cultural events, rites and whatnot.
Secondly, Narukami shrine and Yae Miko personally helped the Kamisato clan to stay on top when Ayaka and Ayato became orphans (as I recall, it was about the same time that the downfall of Kaedahara clan happened)

the reason the sacred sakura is incorporated is because yae miko (the one who takes care of the sacred sakura) protected the yashiro commission from being disbanded by force! it’s a really cool feature that i learned recently

Me as an older brother, resonated so much with Ayato. I really like him and I'm happy that I was now able to get him. I don't care if he's not meta, not better than Childe or whoever. He has probably the biggest swag in the game next to Kazuha, he is cool and he is just always on top of things and give the feeling of security.
