This is really helpful for me as a vet student, I can't count how often I considered switching from how big and sometimes confusing it is to study anatomy, I always wondered how med students study this when they have to be dissecting and sinking thier hands in corpses on top of all the memorization it needs

I think Gross Anatomy and Cadaveric anatomy is overkill for people who don’t want to be surgeons. Most of the clinically relevant anatomy covered in First Aid for Step 1 is all you really need to know for majority of diseases

Unfortunately it’s hard to really learn all the parts. I feel like most students have to bottle up the information for the sake of tests. That’s how it was for me in my biology degree.
