I just imagined a love scenario about a quiet boy in high school or junior high having a crush on the hardworking "nerd" girl. I feel like this song would be sung by him after he sees the girl getting used by "friends" and then gets heartbroken after realizing her "friends" were fake. After that, she stopped coming to school, and was rumored to have transferred schools. The boy remembers a couple of brief moments they talked and giggled. And yes, I did imagine this as a anime.
