Ballard has just lost too many games around it. I don’t even care about the specifics. His win loss rate is just too low. And we should have done something different at QB. We should have had more competition at the most important position. It’s a fatal flaw of this specific body of work. We aren’t winning, we never feel more than a couple steps behind the chiefs. Pat definitely got to be part of the Colts with Manning and with Luck. He saw the good and bad. He knows what he is talking about. I agree that the Colts have much talent. You can't say Ballard can't spot talent. The bigger problem is, the draft a guy like Richardson, annoint him the starter after one series in the preseason game, and keep making excuses for him. He isn't very good. ANY QB in the NFL is going to have a nice throw once in awhile. But when you start 11 games and throw 8 TDs and complete less than half of your passes, that is horrid. They cannot roll him out there again next year as the QB, because they will have no chance. Getting a new DC who has a game specific gameplan will help, but need a different, young QB. Hopefully, they go after a PASSING QB and make mobility secondary. They have the offensive talent. If Luck where on this team, they would put up 30 a game. I would like to see Kurtis Rourke picked to compete.
