I have a Companion 5 since 2012 ， its been 10 years, have never even think about to replace it, it just like McLaren F1 sports car (1993-1998) if you know what am I talking about, once you had it, you had it all.

By far the best pc speakers ever made. And the clean sleak looks.I bought my companion 5s ( hookup via usb) along with the companion 3s (hookup via rca jacks)when they came out and both sets work to this day.

$166 USD ! Thats a great price! I was gifted a set when they first came out and they're still on my desk all these years later. I was upgraded from the Compaion 3's, I donated those to a local theater for their office and they still work. The bass on these systems work pretty good for their size. I have to keep mine turned down as to not disturb my neighbors in my apt building.

I cut into the speaker wires and expanded the distance you can put them. Works great in home theater.

As a kid i always dreamed with having one of these, but the prices on my country are crazy, today they ask $430 for a used unit! For that price i better buy a logitech Z623, Z906 or some edifier bookshelf speakers
