Pull ups are the death of me, I’m literally defying gravity while lifting up 135+ pounds, and I have a lot of muscle density and dense bones rip
Update:I wrote this comment the day after I begun attempting to do chin ups and pull ups(I started working out about three years ago, but never done strength training)so far on the rod in my closet I can do about 3 reps of 4 chin-ups, as a bulky girl I already look like I do arm workouts but I don’t, so I’m working on my core strength if you know what I mean lmao. But I’ll continue to update just so I can keep track of my progress with pull ups and chin ups

Update no.2 I can do 9 sets of 4 chin ups and maybe like a third of a pull up, my arms look a bit more toned

Update no.3: 20 sets of 4 chin ups today on July 18th and if I remember I started June 11th or 12th, my arms are pretty toned and I do notice muscle growth.

Update no.4 on august 2: 35 sets of 4 chins and half a pull up, my arms at this point are noticeably bigger..My family has pointed it out so yeah haha.

Update no.5 is in the replies. Since I somehow forgot to record it up here🥲

Update no 6 on September 28th: I haven’t been feeling too good emotionally so I haven’t been working out too much but I did today!I did 40 sets of 4 reps of chin-ups and am able to almost do a pull-up. I’m super proud of all my progress considering i couldn’t even get off the ground for 2 seconds a couple of months ago lmao.

Update no.7 on October 25: on oct 9th I strained my neck(Causes are unknown 😍) but I just got back into doing my upper body as I’ve been doing cardio more often due to the injury on my neck. So, today I got in 50 SETS OF FOUR REPS! 200 chin-ups is my all time record so I’m happy ash. And I will continue to rub it in my sibling’s faces😻

My dad spots me when I do squats, and he always goes “ANOTHER REP, CMON YOU CAN DO IT” when I’m done with my set and I’m already seeing The Lord’s light 💀💀💀

As a bulgarian that does these this shti will be the death of me it's like the work out equivalent to when you get mean ass heartburn from food but it's your muscles frfr😭. It's rly fun tho it just takes a while to get used to frfr.
