We can also take the match on the + sign and put it horizontal in front of the 2 in RHS, which will make it 5-7= -2

There are at least two solutions to this problem. It looks like everyone has figured out that taking the match off the plus sign making it a minus sign and adding it to the 5 to make it a 9 is one solution. There is an easier one, though. Take that same match off the plus sign making it a minus sign and lay it across the equal sign making is a not equal sign.

9-7=2, move the plus sign match over to the 5 to make it a 9 . The equation will now be correct.

Move the vertical match of the ‘+’ to the top bit of the Right side of the 5. You have then turned the ‘+’ sign into a ‘-‘ sign and the 5 into a 9. The sum would then read “9-7=2”.

It also works: 5 - 7 = -2 - just move the match from + and lay it horizontal next to the 2. It's just smashed close together so you don't see that as an obvious resolution.

Could also take the upright match from the plus and put it diagonally across the equals sign so it does not equal 2.

Another solution:
5 - 7 does not equal 2.
My keypad offers no symbol for "does not equal." Commonly it is an equal sign with a slanted lin through it from top right to lower bottom. That is a correct solution, although the 9 -7 = 2 is probably the solution sought.

Take the plus sign (horizontal part) and place it to number five to make it 9. Therefore, 5 becomes 9 followed by the negative sign (minus) 7 = 2.☺️
