I'm not sure what they deal with in the USA for terrorism. For us, Spaniards, it is terrorism when an organized group murders for political or ideological reasons. But when a guy takes a gun and breaks into a store and kills the clerk, or when a teenager starts shooting his schoolmates and teachers, that's something else. And that is when gun control is effective. We frequently hear of these types of cases and they always happen in the United States. That doesn't usually happen in other countries. Because in other countries it is not easy for civilians to own weapons. It's also a question of culture: we don't have that culture of the Wild West and gunslingers. Jeez, they talk about the founding fathers, the world has changed a little since then. We are no longer in the wild west.
In other countries we do not expect civilians to be prepared to confront terrorism, that is what state forces are for. But the fact that civilians cannot have a gun in their home helps a lot to prevent someone with problems from going out and shooting.

Didn't seem that heated to me. Kurt put his views across in a respectful and thought-provoking way. He believes in the 2nd amendment and has strong views supporting it but always respects others opinions. That interview could've been a banana skin for Kurt but his honesty and his respectful attitude won the day. To me, two people having differing views and being able to talk about it for once. Final note, I remember seeing that interview years ago. All the best :)

Seeing clips of the 5 and them saying “man splaining” and then hearing them talk over each other not letting people thing and picking up after each other with no pauses makes me think that show is showing what “woman splaining” is a thing since he have the sense to process things first before reacting with what emotions make them feel.
