In this video, we will discuss the visual proof of the interesting property of odd integers, which was first observed by Galileo Galilei in 1615. Galileo was studying the law of falling objects, by dropping them from the leaning tower of Pisa, when he observed this property. The property goes like this,
⅓ = (1+3)/(5+7) = (1+3+5)/(7+9+11) = … = (sum of first n odd integers)/(sum of next n odd integers)
