I love the 3D aspect combined with a destructible environment, seems like it will make for some really interesting problem-solving and planning, I'm glad studios are still making "simple" and "low-graphics" games that are engaging and challenging. Thanks for covering this!

I would love a free key. What I am inspired to look into is the various type of asteroids that will inevitably be in this game. One aspect of "Dyson Sphere Program" I love is how you can only obtain specific resources by travelling to certain biom planets. But then just to travel to other planets (and further on, other systems) you need to research appropriate techs. All of this makes for a rewarding build and progress thru your tech tree. I am sure Facteroids will have a lot to offer in a similar fashion.

I like that the converyorbelt placing looks easier than in other factory games and its seems a bit simpler to set up productionlines.

I love the multidimensional aspect of the game but what I love even more is the idea of having to mine out a block above to get to more resources before.

This looks like a fun little game. good way to break out of the perfectionism mindset that other factory games can get you stuck in

I love how you have to be adaptable with your building placement and how like you said it's a puzzle with where to place the buildings. Thanks mate love your vids 😁👍

I think the 3D aspect brings something new. Been waiting for Factorio to drop in price because I'm on a budget, but it's going the other way. Might opt for this instead, definitely gonna try the demo.

I honestly love how you have to worry about limited resources and even the rotation of asteroids in terms of solar power. That to me is different from any other factory games I've played personally.

The combination of 3D building and destruction of building areas/blocks really sets this apart. Definitely checking this out.

What makes factory games for me is actually seeing the modeled materials on belts and such. This game really captures that well, and provides an ever changing environment that you can customize your experience to! Also, having each area be a puzzle is a relief from mindless factory piece placement. Honestly I’ll probably end up getting it

Looks pretty cool. Coming from mostly Satisfactory and Factoio, I'm liking the trading aspect where you send off some resources to get others in return. Also like the need to use resources to modify/terraform your surroundings to then expand your factorios. I definitely can see giving this a try. Thanks for shining a light on it!

Thanks for this introduction to this game. Facteroids looks like a fun building game, especially for those of us who don't really like the survival aspect of these games. I also like the fact that you have a lot of different ways to play. I can see where the missions help a new user grasp the building concepts. Then the other modes allow for ways to progress your builds. I also really like the animations. In addition, I also appreciate the fact that you are the planner and your bots do the actual connections which are the fiddly parts of the factories.

Seems interesting, especially the "environment specifics" of Asteroids, lava etc.

I love mining games and there are never enough mining usually in the Facto sims. But this one looks like it has it.

Loving the 3D puzzle aspect to the game. Also, I tend to get lost in the asthetics of building in other games.. getting to focus on the changing environments and adapting to progress is very appealing!

I really like the idea to have different sizes of asteroids to build on like a super limited amount of space to build on.

The asteroid hopping sounds interesting, I would imagine that you need to keep hopping between your previous asteroids to rebuild mines when your resources run out to feed your newer asteroid's resources needs. Also, one thing that wasn't mentioned was those lava tubes I saw on Venus. It will be interesting working in and around those.

My favourite part is that you have an actual use for what you do turning this into a Factorio meets Anno.
In Factorio or other games of this type the sole purpose is to grind resources to unlock the next thing and it mostly becomes more messy as you need to grind even more.
The goal is....to just do that.

I like that here you build something, you can trade what you have against what you need and support your goal of building a colony.
This might sound like its the same thing, but it really isnt and the best mode added to Factorio in my opinion was the one where you do exactly that.

Facteroids does this better, it gives purpose, it connects different kinds of mechanics together.
You just cant build the best thing and get everything.
You need to adapt, you need to connect, you need to exchange.
Its a bit like a Factory-based Anno, where the Asteroids are the Islands.
Thats unique and basically the reason why i am interested into this game.
