Poland Convenes Emergency Meeting Amid Unconfirmed Reports Of Russian Missile Strike

U.S. officials are working to figure out exactly what happened inside NATO territory following reports that two people were killed by a Russian missile that fell within Polish borders. U.S. officials have not confirmed the incident as of Tuesday afternoon. This increasingly tense situation is playing out as President Biden is in Bali on Tuesday for meetings with G20 nations.

What's sucks about this is russia is not going to acknowledge this as an attack and when nato strikes back, russia is going to look at this as if nato is the first one who attacked them. Russia likes to play as if they are the victim.

If this was a deliberate Russian attack on Poland, there would've been way more missiles launched and the target would've been more strategically significant. Nobody wants a world war or nuclear war, not even Russia, so I think NATO's response to this will be much more measured than it would be if a non-nuclear power was responsible. What's most likely going to happen is that NATO will set up more missile defense systems close to the Polish border and they will offer statements of reassurance to the public that a military response is not advisable at this time. I hope Putin (or at least someone in his inner circle) can see the writing on the wall and get their troops out of there before this escalates further.

Are there satellite images that can be used to track the missile? Then, these could be used to find the velocity and trajectory and determine the starting point of the missile. Right?

Not a lot of info. Yeah it could be a Russian missle miscalculation, what if it's a Ukrainian air defense missle? Both countries use the same systems and I've heard it was only fragments, or it was a straight up attack. I've got a feeling it's going to be one of those scenarios.
