The mixing is not doing Matt's vocals any justice, but he sounds really great here. His voice is a bit raspy from the intensive touring but he reaches high notes just fine. The bridge and choruses in The Stage and the outro to So Far Away are good examples.

Zak doesn't get enough credit. There's a lot to be said about a solid rhythm (serve the song) player in a band like this, while still keeping up with the harmonies with the presence. Kind of like a modern Malcolm Young

1. The sound quality is low so Matt's voice doesnt sound like this at all really. I recently saw them live 2 months ago and he sounded amazing.
2. They've been touring for months and months and months doing TONS of shows. Im sure his voice is definitely feeling that wear down.

Matt’s voice is damaged... he needs a break from touring baaad. He sounded fantastic last year when I saw them live. I believe it’s just too much touring back to back to back.

After Waking The Fallen he had to go to therapy or something for voice damage...
