One of the key differences between this game and Uno is that

In Uno, your card must match the *previous* card, but

In this game, your card must match the *first* card that was played, regardless of what was played previously

So, for example:
If in Uno a Red 2 was played first, Player 2 plays a Red 6, then Player 3 can play a Blue 6

But in this game

Player 3 can't play a Blue 6 after a Red 6. Player 3 *must* play either 2 of any colour or a Red card (of any number) because that was the *first* card played.

Small but important difference between the 2 games

If playing this game with 2 players only, then, of course, it'd be near the enough the exact same as Uno

(And obviously, there are a few other differences, too)

Dude! Part trick taker, part uno/crazy eights! Super cool, I will have to try it.

This is quite an interesting combination of trick taking and matching reminiscent of Durak and Crazy Eights. That said, I'm surprised aces aren't worth 11 points so as to discourage hoarding them.

It's like Crazy eights but it's trick taking...

So if I understand this correctly winning tricks doesn't really matter in this game? If that's so, what's the point of them if you win by having no cards in hand at the end of the round?
