My all time favorite Jdrama ... Itazura na kiss on it's 2nd season..

I'm so happy when I heard that Itakiss will have season 2...I got really excited to the point that I keep checking updates everyday... I waited for this season and now it's airing... You just don't know how much I love Naoki and Kotoko's love story... I've watched all the adaptation of this manga and I love this new Japanese adaptation... I haven't been able to vid season 1 so I'll make it up this second season..

I love how this was like Naoki's POV. He really does love Kotoko with all his heart even though he seemed to be in such deep denial at times before the confession. The fact that he made so many big life decisions because of her is enough proof that he cares about her and trusts her. ❤️

This version and the taiwanese version are the best and will always be in my opinion. No matter how many more versions are there or made in the future, these two version will always be superior.

Great video - loved the song too; really summed up the relationship well. He loves her deeply, but can't seem to always show it. I felt this version of Itazura na Kiss had the most intense relationship - Naoki always struck me in this as being slightly austistic with the way he didn't seem to be able to read or understand vocal cues and body language. But he's clearly deeply in love with Kotoko; so he struggled to show her he loved her as much as he could.
I think what made him love her was her willingness to love him as he was, not to try and change him. I loved this version so much more than all the others (which I've seen) as Naoki's seeming struggle to be able to show any emotion, let alone love, made him a much more complex character than the other versions where he just came across as an arrogant know it all.
I'm looking forward to seeing the movie version next and how the male lead will be portrayed in that. Thanks for making the vid and I've now subscribed - how could I not after this? :)
