The funny thing is, Candy Pop wanted her to live. If you go read the original story, he gets angry when she says yes, then goes and saves her life by putting her balloon back together. He's tempting her with suicide, but ultimately against it, saving her from herself, in a way.

2019, listening to this for the 50th time, damn good song. Both Madame and Muse have amazing vocals. I wouldn't be able to even try to mimic muse's singing.
