There is a super commodity cycle...but timing it is hard...the upward momentum is always the next year...
I have been long gold and silver miners for five years now and I will stay long but I have moved some of my money to other stocks such as MLR, CASY, COST, so I can get more returns and be diversified. I also own mortgage REITs AGNC and NLY for dividends (13%+). I plan to move more money out of gold and silver mining to other stocks. I can always jump back once the super commodity cycle starts which hopefully is next year? sometime within this decade...
