MPJ is getting paid 40 million and was genuinely unplayable in the series vs Minnesota. I’m not saying trade him but this just shows why you don’t give bumper contracts to non all star players

I have the same number of Conference finals appearances as Joel Embiid. Am I legendary?

That nuggets lose was not supposed to happen. In game 7, they were up 20 in the 3rd quarter. The fact is that Jokic only had one assist the whole 2nd half. No one not named Jokic and Murray were making shots. In fact, they were the only nuggets who scored more than 9 points all game. MPJ just isn’t consistent enough for what they are paying him.

Scary thing is OKC can only improve this off-season. Even if they keep giddey. If I'm not mistaken, they still have a healthy number of available cap space to sign a player that'll definitely make a difference on the team as far as how their role will fit and assisting the core they already have. Like you mentioned, someone like Clint capela or Jarrett Allen or someone else.

timberwolves were not mentaly ready. think winning the last series got in there head.

Timberwolves needed a secondary offensive player who could also initiate the offense. Ant is still learning and growing that part of his game. Malik Monk would be perfect for them. I doubt they could afford him so maybe a cheaper option would be Jordan clarkson or Alec burks

As a okc fan the issue was them not hitting 3”s while the mavs hit theirs the rebounding was an issue but wasn’t the main reason why okc lost the games was all close with okc losing the rebounding battle the problem was okc couldn’t covert their 3”s and couldn’t convert on turnovers which is how they made up for lack of rebounding. Also chet at the 5 is the main reason okc was so good chet can add muscle he won’t be Gianni’s but he will get stronger but they do need to put jdub at the 2 or 3 and get a bigger forward someone similar to Aaron Gordon at the 4

I think I’m the off-season presti will address the issues but not in the way fans think they going to continue their play style just add more size while doing it, I would be extremely shocked if they went for a Jarrett Allen or hartenstien

Minnesota was built to defeat Denver... Problem is there are other teams in the league. I think they would have problem against OKC also, even Lakers would be tough for them.

Shoutout to the Washington Wizards🧙 for giving up Porzingis and Gafford and giving us this NBA Finals

OKC has no reason to give up on Josh Giddey yet. I get that you might not trust him in the playoffs yet but if they want to go get someone to fill his role in the clutch then they have plenty of draft capital and cap space to make a trade happen without giving up any players that still have potential

Hey
A suggestion for you- maybe do a podcast? I can listen to your opinions all day long

I know a guy like Ant is young and all but having another front court guy who can reduce Ant’s playing time is a good thing. I like what Dallas has with Gafford and Lively, 2 guys who can play 20-24 min a night. All teams need to have that kind of depth.

The reason the knicks were injured in the first place was because Tom Thibodeau was playing his starters 40+ mins a night. This put strain on their bodies and more chance for injury over time. This wasn’t just in the playoffs, it was also towards the end of the regular season. They acquired all this depth this year and didn’t really use it.

They need to target that big man from Purdue, Great rim protector, proven consistent post scorer and defender in college, fits well on a lot of traditional style offenses, one of the best screen setters in college

Ant may be in for a rude awakening. He truly believes they will be back, but nothing is ever guaranteed. He forgot the NBA is also a business.
