This reminds me of a specific look in Asian makeup where there’s a little bit of blush or tan color around the eyes on otherwise milky skin. But it’s basically the contrast against the white that makes the “look”

Plus, as she has no bags or undereye hyperpigmentation, I feel like she looks better for the same reason that a lot of people look better with bronzer / a tan in the summer / etc — that healthy glow (I personally don’t think it looks great on her eyelid but I’m sure she’s not done with her eye routine)

Nah nah nah you are right its the color correcting nature that might work, especially on lighter to medium skin tones. I am a medium pale skin brown skin gurly but like you mentioned i have hyperpigmentation near my eyes and the orange helps while brown, especially warm brown gives it a dimension it doesnt need much!

I think it only works as long as the bronzer is closer to your skin tone compared to the concealer. And I think especially for brown girlies, can have the "punched" effect as you rightfully said. So honestly, I don't think it works.

Your bronzer for this trend needs to be a few shades darker to work, even on darker skin. On neutral undertones, i would use more of an ash brown bronzer than a warmer tone bronzer on your skin tone. Idk what ash is in make up. Im ising hair color as my reference

If you want this effect without losing the brightness of the concealer, simply add a little powder bronzer or a brown shadow on your lower lashes, this way you return the definition of your eyes and create a distraction from the dark circles.
many apply concealer and leave that area bare, which, compared to the rest of your base, looks ashy and unnatural.
