When people find a place to rest doesn't take much for a few morons to mess it all up "just leave people alone "

The city owns the marina they can find another company to manage it and get rid of them that is why they backed down.

Younger rich people want to put their boats in that harbor.

People living on some of the vessels are an added layer of security for the rest of the vessels berthed as a deterrent to those that may try to steal electronics etc. Leave the community as it is.

What are they going to do with the marina

The city owns the property and leased it to an LLC. LLC subleases the slips to the boaters. Sounds like the city is also a landlord.

Hope they don’t try to make headway to Sausalito. Marion County is going after _”Wharf Rats”_ too, with a targeted date of 2026. Houseboats will still be there, but no more living on docked vessels that are (suppose to be) seaworthy. Too bad too, had a small responsible bunch living there for decades like some of these guys, but high rent, job loss, COVID-19, you name it, caused too many other people to show up there… then the drugs came. Which led to illegal dumping of refrigerators, chemicals and sewage.

Can't they float down to Long Beach harbor or Marina Del Rey? Had 6 months to plan your move?

The God the owner is willing to hold off and listen and hold off. Which is what governments need to do instead of stealing and kickback favoritism.

Misleading There’s people of all ages and occupations Boats aren’t cheap housing, Except to the people they interviewed I wonder if the new owner realizes he has facilities he could put to use to help people relocate and avoid all of this? i don’t mean something for nothing I mean options a lot of people aren’t aware of. Like half of Florida
