You taught me a new word: Authortube. I know about booktube, so I probably should have just assumed authortube would be a thing. 😂 I don't think I'm ready to make author videos yet, but I'm excited to see where you go with your channel.

At 4:00 you say you don't have a community to market your books to. But honestly, you're taking an important step by posting these videos. If I could offer one bit of advice, I'd say to just keep practicing in public. To me that means stay visible by posting at a comfortable pace, don't disappear even when you're deep into a draft that's really resisting you, and keep making new friends. If you do that, you'll definitely build a community. (In the past, I would build up multiple audiences and then totally disappear because I would lose all confidence in my writing.)
