LOVE THIS! My baby is 3 months now and we still have a plethora of clothes from our baby shower. I’m blessed but there’s something special about going shopping for your own baby catering to your own style. I don’t like pink & I had a girl- best believe almost every piece of clothing we received is PINK. Drives me crazy lol. I did thrift a couple of things but you’re right it’s way better to get neutral clothes to pass them down to the other kids!

Carter's zip ups are wonderful! I recommend layering a plain white onesie underneath during winter. I almost always wear a camisole for an extra layer of warmth, and babies have a harder time staying warm enough.

In my opinion you should have spent more money on 3-6 months clothes, newborns sizes vary so much some baby are born fitting in the 3 months clothes already and others outgrow the 0-3 months clothes so so fast. My sister’s baby only wore his newborn clothes for 3 weeks and outgrew them
