W5T was celebrating the Birthday of the Battleship Texas and was making contacts with other hams on the air.

I made contact with that pilot that afternoon while I was in my pickup truck on simplex near Gainesville, Texas and he was southbound at 37, 000 feet over Lawton, Oklahoma flying to Cleburne, Texas. One of the coolest 2 meter contacts ever. K5DEH

Pretty cool. I just talked to Ken at 0638 Zulu on 7210 after spinning the dial before crashing and heard him holler CQ out there. Checked out the call sign and your page popped up.
