Great content. I’ve used sql and python for years, but I’ve never seen google bigquery. Nice time saver for one off large datasets. I’ve always done this by creating new tables in oracle server then dropping when done. Quick drag and drops is nice.

First of all thank you for your effort and the tims you spent to produce such an articulate course. As a web developer, and having absolutely zero idea about data analysis, but wanting to invest time for the course. How realistic in terms of a day to day lets say work of data analyst? Thank you again.

Find unique values for each of the columns and also show how will you count the unique values
3:22-3:33 (countries); 4:11-4:14 (cities) => unique
3:41 => countunique

How will you combine the category table data with original data?
5:16 => vlookup

What is the total cost spent on breakfast overall?
6:24-7:13 => sumif(range, criterion, sumrange)

What is the total cost spent on travel to Spain?
8:18 => sumifs (for multiple conditions)

How many rows are there in the data that have the category as travel?
9:32 => countif

Find the month of the data using a calculation in a new column
10:18 => month
