I am actually getting VERY excited about it! Everything I hear from first hand accounts of people who have tried the paints is good so far. I know I will definitely be getting some more than others, but I am still going to feel completely spoiled for choice and like a little kid in a candy store the day they come out!

Hi! For the primer base color, I used Duplicolor flat matte grey primer. Its a spray that primes very nicely and evenly. I highly recommend it! Or any other flat matte grey primer.

I like to use the plastic clamshell that models in blisters come with. Pour some water into it and set it level on your table, then put some parchment paper or a paper towel in until it absorbs the water. That will make a wet palette =D

True, some of my paints sometimes are light and smooth enough for me to use straight. I hear that the GW glue is really terrible.

I'm definitely going to change to the newer ones...at some point haha, depending on my finances. What I'll probably do is slowly phase out the old ones for the new ones, although I know I'll definitely do a video on the new 'ranges' (technicals, dry, and texture ranges)

I think that if I wanted to go with a non-GW scheme, I would also do something darker and dirtier! Thanks for the perspective! I know, Nurgle is unhappy that I still haven't done a guide on his big, disgusting lord =D

personally, i'll go with another scheme i guess, since imo the GW scheme is too ''clowny''! I think dark colours suit the ogre kingdoms so much better, because everything's old and rusted/dirty.
however, i think it's great that you follow the GW way of painting minis!

p.s.: get well soon! i bet it's papa nurgles punishment, since you didn't do a taetorial on his lord ;D
