Actually its still possible to play locally on the 3ds. So if your friend is right next to you then you can both hunt together on your 3ds's!

DKC is a milestone dude. theres no game on ps3 that creates such atmospheres
and DKCR is one of the hardest games this generation if you want to fully complete it.
