Wow. !! Mind blowing. Life altering. !!! It's not solely the activities of the very scientists that create the studies but people like Dr Max that take the time to study, compile and present these results to us, the masses, that make the difference. Thank you Dr Max. 🙏🙏

Brilliant, truly. I'm not a doctor or a scientist but the message still seems self-evident to me. And yes, there is something fundamental and primitive and joyful about being outside in the sun, with bare feet, collecting electrons.
Thank you for your commitment to human health, even when it doesn't "pay" in the traditional sense. 🌞

I think sunlight exposure is the major explanation for the “blue zones” and Mediterranean phenomena.

The idea that sunlight is important for health just makes common and evolutionary sense. Humans have been spending all day in the sun to survive for hundreds of thousands of years. There is no way that completely avoiding the sun can good be good for our health, and no, the sun does not cause skin cancer either.

Thank you for such a fresh and intriguing topic of health. Yet more evidence that corresponds to the common sense notion—the further we get away from our natural environment and adaptations, the worse our health and confusion.

As a fair skinned person who has always found the sun uncomfortable (even scary) I have experienced a profound surprise I want to share with others worried about skin health. Now that for the past 9mos I have eliminated carbs (and alcohol) completely out of my diet, I not only vastly improved my health and feeling of wellbeing in the expected ways, I have (for the first time in my life) felt as if my body craves sunlight. Including my eyes and my mind. Exposing myself to the sun in small doses each day would once have seemed crazy and torturous to me, and now it is so rewarding!

I am glad to learn that there may be these biophysical explanations as to why we are adapted to receive such benefit from the sun, and plan to continue my “n of one” experiment to see how I go with regular, moderate sun exposure!

Yep. Heard that before and agree 100%. I’m carnivore for 4 months now and amazing thing is that I got out to the sun here in Northern Idaho and discovered that I instantly turned golden brown, not red, not pink! Unbelievable! Love it! I’m 61 and I love my skin changes

I really enjoyed this podcast.
I have one thing to add to it that I've heard about recently. This other podcast proposes that we do NOT wear sunglasses because the Sun hitting the eyes informs the skin to create a protective tan if you will so that skin Cancer CANNOT occur. I'm NOT sure if that's true but I guess I'll try it although I'll try it when sunset happens which is my favorite time of day. THIS podcast has encouraged me to enjoy 🌇 for the health of my heart.
I would love if the doctor could investigate the role of the eyes receiving sun vis-a-vis the skin creating a protective melanation. As we know the eyes are extension of the brain or recently I heard actually the brain is an extension of the 👀. I read one comment by an Asian woman who said she would always burn. Foregoing her sun glasses resulted in a lovely light tan she said😊

Cardiologists know a lot about the medical-industrial complex, kickbacks and luxury cruises.

Thank you, as always, doc, for leading the way in educating all of us to the benefits of sunlight and the potential dangers to excess exposure to indoor lighting. I'll continue to share what I've learned.

Shocking! I had to check on the validity of the EZ water, and it is Real. Great presentation.

Truly excellent presentation! My understanding is that infrared light refracts off leaves, grass, etc, so you can benefit even in a shaded outdoor space. I have so many friends who are scared of sun exposure, so I hope I'm right in encouraging them to at least get outside under a tree or umbrella. Thank you!

Awesome content; I recently listened to the audio book "Understanding the Heart" by Stephen Hussey, which discusses this in detail. Fascinating!

Excellent info and made very clear for a lay audience. Great for sharing - thank you! There is also research which shows that the most dangerous forms of skin cancer, melanoma, is actually associated with LACK of sunlight, and is found at a lower rate in people with occupations that are based outdoors eg. dockworkers.

Great presentation, I'm glad I'm outside a lot, but had no idea about the suns rays at the cellular level! Thank you !

Thank you, Dr Max! You did a great job of explaining these concepts. I have always sought the Sun, just knowing it makes me feel good, but with no idea why. God Bless you! 🙏💌

Thanks, this was extremely interesting and added to what I have learnt from Fr Paul Mason, he talks about the nitrous oxide quite a bit :)
