This march written by George M. Cohan for his musical, George Washington, Jr., became an instant favorite across the nation. It was inspired by a conversation Cohan had with a Civil War veteran who fought at Gettysburg. This arrangement stays true to the original march style, adding some fanfare and pomp throughout. The less-commonly heard verse precedes the final triumphant statement of the chorus which leads to an exciting and bombastic ending. Like Cohan's original, this will certainly get the audience's toes tapping along!

All of these works are available individually or all together in my "United We Stand" Collection.

Each of these works for Trumpet Ensemble also have a corresponding arrangement for Solo Trumpet with an mp3 accompaniment track in my "Zack Richards Music Minus One" Series.

One of my favorite marches. Great job arranging.
