I got one of Dahua's 4239 bullet cameras a couple years ago when they first came out... it is still an impressive camera, but it's great to see what some of the more recent models can do. No doubt some of these have less blur at night and I'm considering an upgrade!

There are few online reviews showing night vision quick movement like jogging/running. THANK YOU so much for doing it!! Most camera brands struggle with quick night movement, blurring/ghosting. IMO none of these ten cameras had clear enough detail to identify the face when you were jogging/running. I assume expensive business/military grade cameras can, but most home security cameras in this price range are not good at this. Thanks also for being fair and level headed. You are not one of those camera fanboy jealots who trash other brands like "they suck" or "aren't worth a s..t." Good luck in your channel career! The students will miss a great teacher like you.

Wow! Lots of hard work went into this video, thank you! I've been using a Hikvision 4MP ColorVu turret since last year and it does "OK" at night but I don't have a lot of light like you do so recognizing a face at night is almost impossible. Going color is a game changer and I've been waiting for the Hikvision ColorVu 8MP turret to replace my 4MP because it has car and person detection. My 4MP is a gen 1 and only has motion and line crossing detection which do not work very well at all. The supplemental white light really helps but like you said it attracts spiders and bugs so turned it off and put my porch light on a sensor. I'm pretty sure the new Hikvision has an option to turn on the LED only when it detects motion which is also a good security option.
