I spent hours trying to guess the code to this clan base. I started by placing sleeping bags around the base so I could get back quickly after dying from the zap that the code lock gives you when you type in the wrong code, then started going through a list of the most common codes that people use. After four hours I was in, and now all I had to do was spear out this turret, bait this this this and this turret, then make my way to the loot rooms where- oh, no loot? At least we got TC… I made my way to the top of the base, where lets just say, they kept their good loot. There was multiple boxes worth of guns, kits and most importantly, 3 boxes worth of sulfur! And that’s why…

This is actually how most brute force attacks work for computers, they choose the most common combinations, then words, then words with extra stuff added on and then just random stuff.

Best way to prevent this boys is have 3 airlock doors with different codes so by the time they get to the last door after hours of trying you should already be on for the next day of grinding, don't let these peeps take all your hard work

Using different codes for almost every door, tc, and big loot box will deter code raiders significantly. If you do get raided, having a small starter base somewhere else on the map will get you back on your feet. A 2x1 with extra kits and revolvers is enough to get you back on your feet if you get fully raided.

I once built a honeycombed 2x2 with stone pancake roof and when I got on, i was met with 2 two dudes who just broke through both layers of hardside with spears. I only played that server for 3 hours the day before so I accepted that insane dedication. Ever since then I never doubt the dedication of rust players.

I coded raid a base without intention. I was looking for the 3 that raid my 2x1 and on my second suspicious base I just when to kill me by the code lock and jackpot 5555 was the code. Lol. And those guys were who raided me the day before.
