When I saw the name of this song, my mind went to what happens when we transition to a new chapter in life. Where the winds come and blow away the dirt so that we can see our roots. If all we see is the dirt, we live in a lie, but once we see what holds us up, our lives change. We have to go through the state of erosion to find our calling. This is how I found that I was called to entertain people from the rear of the crowd, providing artists a way to relate to the public. After 30 years in the music industry, you would think that would be common knowledge, but many times we can't see the root from 30 feet of dirt. I tried to write a song about this, and my friends turned my blues song into a comedy, ending my inspiration.

For this song alone, Lainey should have won the " Country Album of the Year". But, ALL the other songs on this album are well written and great country music -- down to the bone -- she's country! (-J. Aldean) This music is as country as country gets. Regardless of what anybody else was thinking at the Grammy's, of all the nominee's, this is "THE COUNTRY ALBUM OF THE YEAR"!!! I don't care what anybody else thinks about that. I think that all the country music fans out there would agree.
